MY STORIES

My book, My Sixth Sense, shares anecdotal stories derived from my personal experience that allow all children to look at disability and differences through a new lens.

An experience allows all children to look at disability and differences through a new lens.

REGINA MULLEN

Throughout her life, Regina Mullen, the author, struggled with Stargardt Disease, which causes significant visual impairment. This was instrumental in her career choice. She worked as a school psychologist in the public school system for fourteen years servicing children from pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade.

ILLUSTRATED BY MICKEY BISSELL

Mickey has been painting ever since she can remember. Her artistic talents are primarily in color and design. She is able to create intriguing paintings from life, memory, or from any favorite photograph. Her work is mostly in acrylics and watercolors on canvas and paper. This is Mickey's first children's book collaboration.

KIND WORDS

Thank you so much ❤️

This book is fantastic on many levels. First of all it is a wonderful story of a child who is faced with a disability and how he is able to use positivity to overcome obstacles.
